PALEVSKY, Bernard (Beryl)
Peacefully, at home, after a courageous battle, on Thursday, January 29, 2015, in his eighty-sixth year. Beloved husband, soulmate and best friend of Anne Goldstein for sixty-one years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Gail Palevsky and Simon Mendelson, Joy Palevsky and Perry Drobetsky, Avery and Evelyn Palevsky Dear brother and brother-in-law of Susan and the late Jack Palevsky, Raizel and Ken Macklovitch. Cherished "Zaydie" of Seth and Gregory Mendelson; Amber Berson and fiancé Saelan Twerdy, Eden Berson and fiancé Dan Mavity, Morgan Berson, Julian Drobetsky; Jeremy, Mady, Arielle and Oliver Palevsky. Proud great-grandfather of Paloma Nessa Berson-Twerdy. He will be forever remembered as a most honorable man, known and respected for his wisdom, business acumen and for his unwavering compassion and friendship. Special thanks to his caregivers, Rita, Christie, Bernice and Natasha for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 1 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at his home.
