  	Diana Ann Balacco, 80, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Dover, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Diana Ann Balacco, 80, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Dover, died following a brief illness Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Mrs. Balacco was born Jan. 21, 1928, in New York, daughter of the late Sadie Polesky. She had lived in New Jersey, moving to Delaware in 1964 and then retiring to Largo in 1981. Mrs. Balacco was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed taking trips with them. She also enjoyed knitting, bingo, reading the newspaper first thing in the morning, watching the Game Show channel, and going on trips with her great grandchildren to Disney World. She is survived by her son, Stephen Balacco, and his wife and children; two daughters, Madaline Balacco of Apollo Beach, Fla., and Ann Marie and Roy Caldwell of Clayton; a granddaughter and her husband, Diana and Ricky Janeka of Smyrna; a grandson and his wife, Vito and Heather Balacco of Apollo Beach; and seven great-grandchildren, Thomas Fretz and Rene A. Fretz and Britney Janeka, Hunter Janeka and Saylor Janeka, all of Smyrna, and Emma Balacco and Emma Balacco, both of Apollo Beach. Memorial donations in Mrs. Balacco?s name may be made to the Hospice of Florida, Suncoast, Roosevelt Road, Largo, FL 33760.
